Hyper DSC measures transition temperatures, heat capacities, transition and reaction enthalpies and their detailed time- and temperature-dependent kinetics, in solid or liquid samples. Scanning rates may be varied from 0.1 to 500 ºC/min in heating or cooling, in addition to the possibility of isothermal experiments. The full temperature range of the instrument is from -190 to 725 ºC. Long series of runs on various samples may be programmed and automated.

DMA/DMTA imposes cyclic stresses/strains at variable controlled frequencies and measures elastic and loss moduli/compliances and loss factors as functions of temperature and frequency, as well as glass and other secondary transition temperatures. The full temperature and frequency ranges of the instrument are -190 to 400 ºC and 0 to 300 Hz and the testing modes may be bending (three-point, single and double cantilever), tension and shear. Granular materials may be analysed using special material pockets.
Thermal Gravimetric Analyser -
TGA measures mass variation in various types of material changes/reactions as a function of temperature and time, thus including their detailed kinetics and characteristic temperatures. Simultaneous DSC/TG (calorimetric /thermogravimetric) measurements are also possible, as well as thermal expansion measurements. Various atmospheres or vacuum may be used. The full temperature range is from ambient to 1750 ºC.
