The University of Aveiro is one of seven partner universities who offer the European Master in Advanced Functional Materials (FAME).
These universities, from France, Belgium, Germany and Portugal (Aveiro) decided to create this master upon recognition of an emerging field of advanced functionalized materials which is becoming a strategic technology of the future.
The seven universities offer a wide variety of knowledge and a broad spectrum on research in the area of advanced functionalized materials, particularly in:
• Hybrid Materials and Ceramics;
• Materials for Micro- and Nanotechnologies;
• Nanomaterials and Hybrids;
• Engineering of Materials and Nanostructures;
• Nanomaterials and Modelling;
• Functional Ceramics;
• Materials Interfaces.
The master Fame is supported by the FAME Network of Excellence and Erasmus Mundus Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
