biographical description

With a PhD in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra, Bruno Gago is since 2008 Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences from the University of Aveiro. After the degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Coimbra, Bruno Gago started his research activity in the Center for Neurosciences and Cell Biology (CNC) in 2002. In 2004 he started is PhD studies with research both at CNC and at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Karolinska Institute, Sweden. In November 2009, he finished his PhD in Pharmacy. He started his teaching activity as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences from University of Aveiro in 2008, Holding responsibility for several curricular units integrated in the Training Programme in Pharmaceutical Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing and other study programmes. Since 2010, developed interest with regulatory challenges related with the research, development and certification of Medical Devices and In vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices.
